Question Need help for a track day

Hey ladies

I want to do a track day and I don't have the leather pants to go with my leather jacket to make it a one piece. I found pants to match but they're around $300.00

I was wondering if getting a one piece suit would be cheaper? Do any of you have any suggestions on where to go or how much I should be looking to spend?

Also, I have no idea about sizing My jacket is a 10.

Does your jacket have a 180° zipper? Most tracks require it if you are wearing 2 piece leathers. If you are going to Jennings, I know they do.

You should be able to find a decent set of leathers for around $450-$500, maybe less if you look hard and get lucky.

I bought my leathers (Teknic) on sale from a site called Joedealer.com, for about $420 a little over a year ago (but I got the price from the last years model b/c they screwed up my order). Doesn't look like they have any women's leathers right now though.

You should also look at the Vendor section here on SBN to see if anyone is having any sales on leathers.

Not sure if you already got your leathers, but I got mine from Kneedraggers.com. They are always having close out sales on all kinds of gear and have been helpful to me with my sizing (being 6'5" tough to size out).

Good luck!

And, oh yeah, enjoy your first track day experience! I still remember mine and now I'm addicted......

Try ebay or some of the boards. I'm looking at getting new leathers right now but who knows when it'll actually happen. For sizing you just gotta look at the size chart for the brand you're looking at, they're ALL different. You're probably not going to find a full set of leathers for less then $300 but like Tammy said if you get the pants make sure they zip from hip to hip.

Hey Sunshine, I might be going this weekend after all. I'm shooting for Sunday, for sure. Possibly Monday as well.
