Question Adding more padding to my helmet?

Is this possible? This whole helmet issue is driving me nuts ladies! I am on the petite side and no helmet is small enough for me! I tried getting a xxs women's helmet but that was too big, got a youth l/xl but that too was to big and now i've got a youth s/m and this too moves on my head. What can i do??? I'm going nuts! Being little is hard! Sigh...... I guess my last resort is to know if i can add more padding to the inside thats there now to make it more snug? I hope there's a solution for my problem because im so disappointed already.

Wow, fitting screen name then if those helmets are too big.

You maybe be able to buy replacement padding and add it to your helmet but i'm not sure how secure that will be if something happens.

You said you're not on Oahu right? I was going to tell you to go see some guy out here if you are. He may be able to help you out.

Kauai in the house!!

Wife is from Kauai, Kalaheo/Lawai area.

Instead of them ordering, you should order it, if it doesn't fit, you can return it.

Have you tried Arai? I know they offer different sized pads. If you get the smallest helmet they offer and the thickest padding to put in it, that might do the trick.

Look at this PDF document from Arai. The Quantum series has an XXXS that you can get an optional 40mm cheekpads for.

The Quantum is a great helmet. My last current and last helmets have been Quantums.

Absolutely what AC said!!! I had an HJC and it never fit me right because I have an infant sized head! But my issue was more than size, it was shape as well. Because I have an oval shape, most helmets did not fit right. I finally found the Arai Signet. It is a dream come true. Definitely take a look at them. I know they are pricey, but after riding with ill fitting helmets, they are so worth while!

I am in between a small and x-small. I wear a bandana. Not the greatest solution, but it helps me.

My son has raced go-carts since he was 4 and I found a kbc helmet and they have extra liners for inside as well. His is an xs with the extra liner should work for you since he was 4 when I bought it and very small for his age even at six now he only weighs 36 lbs.
