Hey ladies, I was noticing yesterday after a longer ride that my fingertips were kind of sore due to the pressure on my fingernails from the gloves. This isn't really an issue on shorter rides. My nails aren't super-long dragon-lady nails, but they are somewhat long. Should I just cut them off even with my fingers, or should I order the next larger size gloves?

I would trim them down rather then purchase larger gloves, simply because you won't have a "true" fit if you go larger.
I had the same problem and when I trimmed them back, my gloves felt much better

Apparently my fingers are stumpy enough that there is extra room in the fingertips for my nails. But I do find if I let them get as long as I like, they make the gloves a bit uncomfortable so I do keep them shorter for riding.
My fingertips get sore after riding when my nails get long, mainly when I'm not wearing my women's gloves. I have two pairs of mens gloves (size small) and one pair of women's gloves (either a med or large). The fingers on mens gloves in the sizes that fit me are much shorter than women's gloves in the sizes that fit me.
My men's gloves are my track gloves, so I always trim my nails before a track day, or if I'm wearing my leathers on the street as I wear the mens gloves with my leathers.
If you don't want to keep your nails stubby-short, get some gloves with longer fingers. Women's gloves will fit better, b/c they are made for slender hands and fingers.
I keep mine trimmed. Otherwise they like to snap off. Of course when mine snap off, it is to the quick and it hurts. But then again I have more issues when racing than just street riding.
I have womens' medium gloves, and I am thinking about getting a womens' large for the next pair... I went ahead and trimmed them for now, though. Thanks for the input, ladies...

Trimmed - that's how I always keep mine. Between working in the garage and the gym, not to mention various sports/activities, there's no better way for me than to keep them short. They do grow quickly though for those random times I need girl fingers lol
I have to trim my nails everytime I go to the track. I wouldn't recommend getting larger gloves, I tried that and and the extra material would get bunched in my palm and gave me alot of problems with throttle control.
I'm trying to remember which model of a* gloves my ladies gloves are. They fit really, really well. They are snug, the fingers are slender and long enough to accomodate feminine fingernails.

Let me know if you remember. I'm going to need new gloves eventually. I have a men's small now and they do ok, but sometimes they still get a little bunchy on me.
Mssd was telling me the a while back the girls she saw with nice nails had just cut the finger tips off of their gloves, now that is some funny stuff right there lololol
Anywho as soon as mine start getting long I cut them, there are gonna break eventually and nails get gross and chipped crack with bike maintenance

AHHHH!
The thought of bare fingernails & fingertips scraping and dragging along the asphalt makes me cringe!

I don't remember "Stella" being on the tag when I bought them (I got them from Cycle Gear), but I'm pretty sure they have "SP-3" on them. I didn't ride today, so I don't have them with me.
These are my street gloves. I don't wear them on the track anymore. They are padded, but don't have any armor on the knuckes or anything like that.
