Autism Research Institute is a good one.
Thoughtfulhouse Center for Children is another good organization here located here in Austin. Here is an article on the medical director, Dr. Jepson (he's treated my daughter).

I like the Autism one as well. I think Fargin brought up a good point last year. Find a solid charity that does not have the publicity of breast cancer or St. Judes.
Fargin~do you still have that link to organizations???

St. Judes is just one of MANY children's hospitals. Children's of Wisconsin is the reason my daughter walks today....But I think it would be awesome to do something for an organization that does not have the advertising budget of, say the United Way, but still does a damn good thing. Just my thoughts.
