No, the event in Las Vegas (beginning of October) where you get to ride different bikes at the track. One of my friends is trying to talk me into going, and if I can line up babysitting, I will try. I'm really torn about my next bike...

I'm hoping that if I can go it will help me decide what to get. I've really liked the power and torque of Dan's sv, but I've never ridden anything but that and Petunia. Would the power of the R6 be as exciting? I'd hate to spend 9k plus on the R6 only to say after a month that the sv was as much fun (for a lot less $$)...

see I love the sound of Dan's bike. I probably ride it too fast just to hear it. He's got a two brothers pipe on his... It is so fun to ride it out of the corners, too. With Petunia, it's a lot more work to make her perform what comes so naturally to the crotch twinkie (dan's bike is yellow ). Moira (friend trying to get me to go to fem moto) has been voting for the svs, but she rides a duc 998, so she's v-twin biased...

From what I have heard, it is not a trackday. It is a test/demo day. Passing is extremely limited if not forbidden. Also heard that getting to actually ride the bike you want, is not necessarily going to happen.
