Default Florist advise....

thank you in advance for any advise or comments...

how many of you used a florist for your wedding, and how much did you spend on flowers? Does this sound a good deal to you gals?

$1300 includes the following:

brides bouquet and toss bouquet
bridesmaid bouquets
Flower girl bouquet
flowers for mothers
Grooms boutonnière
Groomsmen boutonnière
fathers boutonnière
10 center pieces - each center piece will have a combination of 15 red roses, calalily, kelly willow, orquids, and denchrobi.
Each center piece will sit on top of a cone shape glass vase. Inside the vase will have lighting and the water will have some color.
Head table arrangement
backdrop for head table (something to decorate the back wall of the head table and the table overlay)
Runner and columns (ceremony)

It sounds like a good deal, and the customer service seems to be good so far...

Any comments?

I can't help you there. I got married so long ago and so young, my mom took care of everything and I don't remember what she did or how much it cost.

I'm assuming that includes them setting it all up, right ? If it includes the labor then it might not be a bad deal...

I looked into flowers, but then we decided to do the outside theme and I had all the natural flowers and tree's that I needed.

Good luck, when's the big day ?

Well, the wedding I had with flowers was about 13 years ago. But I had a cascade bouquet with Cala Lillies, White Roses and Ivy. My three girls each carried a single white rose and I had two live plants for the ceremony. I set up and tore it all down. I paid $1,000.00. In comparison, your deal seems to be an awesome one.

Thank you.. thank you ... thank you...

I just get nervous putting out all this money, and then to find out we could have gotten it cheaper. We look at a few others, and the guys we ended up with, which is the package above, was the better price.

Thanks again for all the comments and advise.

Now, on to the photographer and video...

It sounds like a good deal, just make sure that they know what you want in your bouquet and will try to respect your tastes and wishes...
