I'm 5'4 and I'm not tiptoed but not flatfoot either.. we customized the seat to give me an extra inch or so of height.. You can get the lowering links or lower the suspension for her.. if she's the only one riding it there should'nt be any problems with the suspension, if lowered..
some areas I'm still tiptoe'ng it and I just lean to the one side.. It works for me ok..
good luck with the search

My wife has decided that she wants to leave the cruiser behind and look for a naked sport bike. One problem, she is only 5'2. She has problems even tip toeing most of the bikes we have looked at. She tried a SV650, and could barely touch the ground. She likes the look of the Ducati monsters and they have the shortest seat height I have found, but there are no Ducati dealers even remotely nearby. (We drove 2 hours the other day only to find out the closest one went out of business last week). Anyone have any suggestions? She's not interested in any kind of fairing at all, must be totally naked. Thanks. John
I am 5'2" also. I love to ride, did the cruiser bit in the early days and now want some speed. I had a ZRX1200 lowered by cutting the shocks. I wasn't happy with the ride after that. Sold it for the FZ1 and I love it. We made some dogbones in the shop in about 20 minutes and lowered it several inches. I love the comfortable seat, I am flat footed in my low heeled Sidi boots and it's fast as hell. I have put hard bags on it that remove whenever you don't need them, so now I have a sport touring bike capability too.

The buell blast has a seat of 26inches. Like the others said don't get stuck in one thing, but it is important she finds a bike she is comfortable on, both seat height and riding position. My wife likes the naked look too, she fell in love with the monster, after sitting on a friends.

^^ awesome pic 1_fast_chick! you've got quite a body, I love the hips
....Anyway,
being able to flat foot really isn't THAT important. 95% of the pressure you put to the ground goes through the balls of your feet anyway. It's just something that new people seem to obsses over. The only time it matters is when you stop, and once you ride for a while you get used to not touching heel and realize you can hold the bike up just fine.
If your wife is dead set on a naked bike, you can buy her just about any sportbike she want's and pull all the plastics off except for the tail, and sell them on ebay, headlight and upper included. Then just mount a small Acerbis Cyclops headlight/bikini fairing to the front and your set, instant naked bike. Have you thought about going that route?
Check out the Hyosung Comet 250/650. I am 5'5" and I lowered my Comet 250 about 3" quite easily (made my own lowering links, and slide the triple tree down the forks about 0.5") and I'm really comfortable on it. It handles quite well, though If cornered HARD the side stand scrapes (still working on that).

I have actually thought about that route, possibly with something like the F4I
I think her biggest concern is not being stable at a stop. I have noticed I tend to spend alot of time just balancing on my toes at stops and it doesn't take any effort at all. I appreciate all the help, just have to keep her from changing her mind at this point.
I've always thought flat-footing is overrated, unless you are a new rider. Once you get some experience and get used to starting and stopping without issues, it becomes less important.
I also tend touch the ground with my toes instead of more of the boot, even though I can get more on the ground. I entertain myself while waiting for lights by alternating balancing on the toes of one foot then the other, or seeing how long I can balance the bike after lifting both feet off the ground slightly. Yes, I am easily amused.

Yep, I agree with acalliste. In fact a lot of short new riders who lower there bikes end up raising them back up once they realize it's not necesary, and with a litle bit older bike, no plastics, and some frame sliders, on the rare chance she did drop it at a dead stop, it would harldy be the end of the world.
Here's a naked 01-03 F4i
naked banana seat F4i (04-06)
RC51 with 1000RR tail!
900RR with an 02-03 R1 tail, also different forks and swingarm, but not sure from what? note the nitrous bottle molded into the gas tank!!!
The handle bar conversion really isn't necessary but it gives you the upright seating of other nakeds like the SV650, only you get the benefit of lighter weight, better power, better brakes, and better suspension of a sportbike! If you want do do the handle bar conversion I think all it is is drilling your upper triple clamp for the risers, and getting longer brake lines. I've been thinking about doing it to my bike.
