Oh, I see what you mean, that would lie really flat. I suppose you have find some way of getting some leverage under it.... get a hold of the bar closest to the ground, make sure it's in gear and the fr brake is tied up and lift it as much as you can until you can get your butt under it...
It's really hard to both imagine a bike I haven't seen in so many years and try to imagine a way to pick it up
meangreenzxr What is your problem? Go kick your truck or something.
I know that the mods of this group can delete your posts and cut you off, completely. They have not. So show at least half the respect that they have shown for your indiscretions.
No one in my area? I'll work on something. I know you gals can come up with something better than I can, but I'll get something done. Best.
This thread is an informational sticky and doesn't need any extra BS in it. ... that's what you have the Post Something About the Person Above You thread for.. or any other thread, for that matter.
I'm not joking. Stop posting in here unless you have something to contribute.

when I first got my R1, I was rolling it out of the garage when it hit a dip in the driveway and dropped right over on its left side, I could tell right away I broke the clutch lever (which pissed me off), so in my anger, I picked it right up and promptly tipped it all the way over onto its right side braking the rearset. After picking it up a second time (truthfully, I think I used the backwards method, but I was so pissed, I really don't remember), I had to ride to a MC junkyard to buy a rearset so I could do a track day two days later.
Yeah, so Reb, I'm such a dumbass, I dumped it twice in 5 minutes, one on each side. I'm sure I'll do it again too at some point in the future.

Okay, so I haven't crashed, but I did lose my balance on our stupid bumpy sloped driveway (front wheel wasn't straight when I stopped). The bike went down (no damage; I broke the fall as best I could). I, for the life of me could not pick her back up, and had to get my husband to come help me. Quite embarrassing, as I was already feeling like a moron for having dropped her in the first place... I'm not terribly strong, but maybe I just have poor technique. Any suggestions?
don't know if it's been said, but turn your back to it, grab the sissy bar and the handlebar while squatted, and push yourself to a standing position, stopping when the bike's weight is sort of comfortably leaned against you so you can get the kickstand down before the bike overbalances.
i made sure i could pick my bike up myself before taking it out on the road. i can't take the embarrassment of waiting for someone to come get me. lol. or having a stranger (in a car no less) be the one to do it. lol.
