Our dealership moved and added Kawi and Suzuki to their line up. We saw this bike in person and I thought of you. It's light, little and not too powerful. Good price too! I am sure it would get to 55 mph, maybe a gearing change and it would get there easier. But seriously check it out! It looks like THE perfect starter bike!!!! http://www.kawasaki.com/Products/Detail.aspx?id=218
KAWASAKI ELIMINATOR® 125 IS THE PERFECT CHOICE FOR BUDGET MINDED COMMUTERS
Sweet tempered motorcycle offers easy cruising
The Eliminator® 125 embodies classic cruiser styling in a lightweight motorcycle with a low seat height and a friendly powerband. This makes it an excellent choice for new riders or anyone seeking an easy reach to the pavement.
Powered by an air-cooled, 125cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine specially tuned for low and mid-range torque, the Eliminator 125 is perfect for around-town riding. The electric starter makes getting underway easy, and a convenient five-speed transmission allows the rider to use the engine’s full potential.
The engine is mounted in a high-tensile steel, double-cradle frame, while 33mm forks and a steel swingarm with twin, five-way preloaded-adjustable shocks provide a smooth, comfortable ride. A single front disc brake provides ample stopping power for this small cruiser, and chrome-plated wire spoke wheels are featured on both ends.
Available in Galaxy Silver for 2007, the Eliminator 125’s styling features a stepped seat with laid-back riding comfort for two, a stretched 3.4-gallon fuel tank, straight-flow exhaust and chrome-plated single headlight.
With today’s fuel prices, even motorcyclists need to pay attention to gasoline consumption. A Mikuni 28mm carburetor is miserly with fuel, feeding the torquey 125cc engine exactly what it requires for comfortable cruising.

Hehe, must be a guy thing. I was wondering the same thing when I saw the pic of the bike. Almost posted asking about the price, then some half starved neuron somewhere fired.

The place I'm working for is selling this little curiousity. I wish I could afford it. She'd be sitting in the garage next to the FZ. I've ridden it and the first thing I thought when I hopped on was OMG! They only market and sell sporty bikes that actually fit a person in the mid 5' range to the Europeans. I get it now! I can sit on this thing with the soles of my shoes flat on the tarmac and when I lean forward the bars are just there, right in the perfect spot. She's comfy! The pics do not do the bike justice.
The motor is pulled directly from a flattrack bike and shoved into a retro frame. It's actually the bike that Triumph should have built IMO and the guys at the shop. It's a bit buzzy but there are not surprises in terms of power delivery.
Worth a look certainly... I doubt you'll see another one soon.
Wow that's really nice Tammy! I've been looking at 600cc cruisers because the rule is Will must be able to ride me around at HWY speeds and I don't want to get left behind.
Even with the fastest most powerful motorcycle this would be me...here comes Diana putting along on her grandma bike...
