To her TTR-125. These are pics from Saturday. Her first time in the dirt on this bike. Fourth time ever using a clutch. I cannot express how freaking proud I am right now of her!!!
She got itty bitty air...but it is air none the less!

AKA-Fearleesta!!! For a man to be afraid of dying, he must first have something to live for...........
Thanks for remembering!
Yeah, it healed great. Most importantly she healed her mind too.
She is a bit tenacious. I am not sure where she got that from...heeheehee.

You aren't a kidding!
She's working really hard right now. She is hoping to start racing mini-moto next year on that TTR. She is chomping really hard at the bit to do it. I figure after a good season of ice riding she'll be set to try the track.
I lucked out with this one. She's such a good girl.

I didn't think she had to heal her spirit/mind since I remember you writing that she was asking when she can ride again while her arm was in a cast back then. As for the tenacity, I will plead the fifth.
Have you taught her the tenacious saying, "Don't touch my bike!", yet?

I know, but I needed to see her back on to be certain.
HAHAHA!!! No, we haven't worked on that phrase yet. Right now she is focusing on being a humanitarian. Since she hasn't been able to race her bike (she has been very patient I might add) she has decided to 'help the needy'. These are her words, not mine:
"We are very charitable people Mom. We enjoy helping the needy. Jim, Troy and Matt NEED to race the mini's. So really, we are helping the needy people in our area by letting them race our bikes."
That girl has a good head on her shoulders. But I am certain once she starts racing....the bike will no longer be available to the 'needy'.
She's a real go-getter, huh? One of these days I'd like to put Gordie on a bike, I just have to find someone around here who'll let him have a go at it. Not an easy task.

WOW that is so cool, I wish I could get at least one of my boys interested in riding. If I could get the squirrely 10 year old to chill out a bit, I think he would be a great rider! Maybe I will talk the hubby into getting him something small to start on, any suggestions for a 10 year old boy who has great balance but has never been the driver of anything except a bmx bicycle?
