Thumbs up Central Florida Women Riders Wanted

Hey ladies, we have a special place that we ride called .6. Location is a secret unless you already know where it is. It is a track like area with no cars to run you over and make you wreck. A lot of guys from the Central Florida area go there, but I have noticed that we don't have any women there. I know that you can ride too. You can choose to ride the track area there or just hang out with a bunck of people that have the same thing in common, we all love to ride. Post up if you are interested in going. Private message me and let me know if you want to go!

Exclamation

If anyone does decide to go, be aware that you need to bring your water with you. It's hotter than the hubs of hell this time of year, & there's no shelter of any kind. The nearest store is a more than a mile away.

The corners are blind due to the thick brush & trees. The roads were relatively free of debris when I was there.

There are two ways in and out of that loop. One mini-van did cruise through in the opposite direction we were running. Thankfully we had stopped to rest for a few minutes when that happened.

The story is that the police tolerate bikes riding out there. But of course, it's a risk you have to take.

Have fun and be safe.

Very true! Why don't you come back out there Acalliste? I am just trying to get alot of people out there who love to ride. It is true about being hot, that is why we all go early right now. I will be carring a backpack this Sunday so I can put a few gatoraides and water in, so I do not have to leave to go to the store. Come on ladies, post up and lets all ride and enjoy the day!

Well, first of all I'm pretty busy this weekend. But second and most important, I'm not going back out there until it cools off quite a bit. It's a really long, boring ride from Orlando. And I was ready to leave 30 minutes after I got there the last time. It's just not worth it right now. Maybe in November it will be more practical.

Yea, I heard that when it cools off, there are a lot more riders out there and for longer periods of time. did you ever go to "The Point"? I heard that was a kick ass place when it was available to ride.

I think I was there once, though I didn't know at the time it was called "the point". It was pretty fun, but I was a passenger that day due to a heavy duty hangover

The Point was awesome to ride until the local Firehouse started alerting the Popo everytime a bike went past their station- which was at the entrance to the Point.
