Wife would like some advice from the Ladies

I started on a 250 and bumped up to an 03 R6 last year with one year of riding under my belt--no problem at all...I had it lowered to with a dogbone about 2.5 inches or so and that works for me although I may move it back up some now...the triple tree was already lowered when I bought the bike so it needed to be lowered in the back with the dogbone as well.

I am 5'4" and I have the balls of my feet on the ground at a stop--so it is quite comfortable. You could also shave the seat off too--the foam underneath it..that will lower the seat somewhat and that will help her too

Well girls..again, Thanks a million for the advice. The wife and I went out several times during the week and the one that she fell in love with is an 04 CBR600F4I.

The best deal that we could find was something that we ran by today, for $7600. We did up the paperwork and will find out Tuesday AM on if the deal pans out or not.

Congrats!! Just tell her to take it easy as it is a jump from a 250...that throttle will be a lot more responsive and she won't have to work as hard to ride the bike. It's going to feel like driving a caddy rather than a VW bug!!

I started on a 250 as well...Then moved up to a GSXR 600...You can take a few rounds out of the rear to help lower it for her....
