Introduce Yourself!
Ok all. I know most of you know each other pretty well. I've been lurking here for over a year and never really saw an introduction thread. Besides, there are more riders coming here everyday, so it's always good to break the ice. Who are you and what are you all about? Everyone should feel obligated to tell us a little something about him or herself. Feel free to be creative or serious, but it should be fairly accurate to your being and not make believe.

I'll kick it off.
I'm Mark (not Tyler), M, 24, Milwaukee; With an opinion machine that will make Rush L. shake his head in embarrassment. I love to listen to Michael Savage on Chicago AM Radio. I'm up at 6 almost every morning to run, captain of my company's Summer Volleyball/Kickball, Fall Football, and Winter Dodgeball teams, and fully enjoy doing anything involving the outdoors.
Anyway, I ride a 2005 R6, almost completely stock; I put on about 12,000 twisty miles/year. With that, he will be gone at the end of the season, and a2007 (my fourth one) R6 will replace him, I'm hoping for a daughter this time, my last 3 bikes were all boys. I mostly live on MadisonSportBikes.com; last March 05 looking for roads to ride, and found a great...GREAT group of real riders. Some of which have really helped me to grow, taught me the importance of gear, and how unimportant posing is. I'm getting faster the more I ride, I'll hit a few track days this year and maybe the Gap once. I will also get a kidney pounding every weekend as I take the trip from Milwaukee to Madison to hit SW WI roads.
School, I have degrees from UW Fond du Lac and Moraine Park TC for IT and Networking. My last company sponsored a program where I combined my two Assoc. for a Bachelor's, which is from University College Dublin, Ireland. I then did my masters at Marquette Univ for Supply Chain Management.
I work at FedEx, SmartPost division, as a transportation manager. I wake up every morning with a smile; I honestly love my job and feel very lucky to work with such a great company. I also do some warehousing/logistics consulting on the side. I'm pretty good at turning a wrench, but getting lazy as I put more effort into my career. Army Reservist...I'm a section chief as an E5 in an Ordnance company, transporting and demilitarizing ammunition. I'm working on being an 890A warrant officer, pilot. If that doesn't pan out I'll reclass as a, 91W M6 Licensed Practical Nurse.

So anyway, my name is Mike and I have chestnut colored eyes and an adventurous spirit... oops wrong write up.
Here we go, my name is Mike and I am an alco... oops, wrong one again.
Kidding aside, I am born and raised in SE Wisconsin. I went to college at UW Whitewater, have a degree in English Literature which I will never do anything with if you were wondering. I used to sell cars and at the moment I finance them which I really enjoy doing.
I have four motorcycles. A 2003 TL1000R, a 2005 DRZ400SM, a 2005 CRF50 and a 1983 XR350R. I have been riding streetbikes since about 1998 and I plan on always owning at least one bike if not several hundred until I die. None will be harleys by the way because they are shit.
Besides riding the above mentioned bikes I don't really do much else. I used to snowmobile but the cost to snow ratio made it not worth it. I also like to jetski but not living on a lake makes that a pain in the ass. I like streetbikes because you can just hop on and go.
I like all different types of riding and I try to wheelie. Someday I will be able to wheelie but for now I try.
Anyway, thats all I can think of for now.

Loves: my SO, my cats and my family
Dislikes: people w/o compassion, bugs (ewwww!), really high heights, and big, scary dogs
I grew up in rural Wisconsin in a farming community. I hated it there. I'm happy to be in Milwaukee. It's pretty much the right size city - enough to do, but not so large it takes you an hour to drive 12 miles on the freeway. I'm also thrilled to know many of you. I plan to get more seat time this year than last year, since my riding season got cut short. See you guys at Starbucks!

I'm Lynda, 24, and live in Milwaukee.
I have a degree in Kinesiology from UW-Milwaukee. I will be going for my masters degree in physical ed. and health starting in the fall. I currently work at a womens fitness center and at a physical therapy clinic.
I love track and field, and especially pole vault (hence the screen name). Track and field is a big passion in my life. I just got done coaching high school track and it was one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had. I also just finished my own track season where I ran some of the best times of my life.
Besides that, I like all kinds of music and movies. I like just about any sport there is (participating). I like hanging out w/friends and going on rides. I'm a very laid back and positive person. I am also slightly sarcastic and like poking fun at people (in a good hearted way of course!)
My bike is a 2001 gsxr 750, a little banged up from the track last summer. I've been riding for almost 2 years and I love riding on the track. I can't wait to get back out there in July!

Ok...I will join in on the fun and games.
Name: Brian
Age: 25 (give or take 10 years)
Work: Loan officer (Mortgages)
Bikes: 05 R1, 05 R6, 05 HD Ultra Classic (hopefully is sold)
I am married to a great woman (also a rider) and have 3 wonderful children (Lauren, Sarah, and Peyton) and one more (Alex) on the way (due in late august).
I have been in Wisconsin all of my life and plan to be here for quite some time (at least till the kids are out of the house). I count snowmobiling among my other hobbies and usually spend the majority of my weekends during the winter blasting around the UP. (I had made an attempt to get one of my SBN brothers interested in snowmobiling but that ended quite badly)
I would like to take the time to say thanks to all of the great people that I have met through SBN, I truly enjoy spending time with you guys. Its awesome that we have developed a network of people that ride and hang out together. I view SBN as a positive place to be because of the way people just seem to get along and also due to the values that are promoted...gear, safety, trackdays...all this will only help all of us to become better riders. It is also a great source of information...so heres to you Murf, CJ, Moses, Malik, Sarah, Mike K, Mike(Joker), Masuo, Tom, Matt, Shane, Rick, Dave, Lisa, Ali, Tanya, Linda, Red Busa, Tammy, and Hawker. (Sorry if i've forgotten anyone)

Fun huh. Not so much. Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll be done in 07 or 08. hehehe..."A lot of people go to college for 8 years............." "Yeah. I grew up in various places due to my dad's career in the Air Force, but I mostly lived in Phoenix AZ. I lived in Green Bay for 4 LOOOOOONG years and then I moved to Milwaukee to go to college. Through a series of very unfortunate events, I was forced to drop out of school and get the job at Milwaukee. It turned out to be an amazing choice and has enabled me to live well.
