(Ryan you work RIGHT across the street from me dude. We're gonna have to hook up for lunch)
Small world indeed, I walk through your building all the time in the winter to get back to work after lunch. Send me a e-mail sometime at ranklam@alcco.com and we'll do lunch.

Background: Grew up in Illinois, Wyoming, and Colorado. Currently living in Kenosha, WI. Had brief stints in Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, Denmark, Georgia, Indiana, and North Carolina. Went to College in Ottawa, KS, played football and ran track in college. B.A. Psychology. Played 5 years of Arena football, and currently stay active playing volleyball, (team just got back from the National tournament in New Orleans!) flag football, golf and softball... I also enjoy snowboarding in the winter.
I love good beers but will revert to Coors light when the pocketbook is light... My favorite drink, however, is bourbon. (Booker's to be exact)
My favorite thing in the world is my wife, Jessica who was also a collegiate swimmer, so I have heard many of Murf 99's stories before She rode for a few months, and had an incident with a semi truck on the way to Road America two years ago. After a 2 year absence, she's getting back into it on a 2003 SV 650 S!
I started riding in College and had a brief absence while following the football dream for 5 years. Picked it back up 3.5 years ago, and started riding on the track last year. I own a 2006 Daytona 675 for the street (also due in part to a write up on the NESBA board by Murf99... pretty influential for a guy I have never met) and a 1999 Yamaha R6 for the track.
I was introduced to the site earlier this year by RSV Radtke whom I met at a NESBA event at BHF, and he posted some pictures here. I have been hanging around ever since.
I would like to get in on some group rides as I am always searching for twistier places than the Kenosha County roads.
I also enjoy candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach...

I was born in the Twin Cities (MN) and love the Vikings (down with the Pack). I've lived in So Cal and ended up in Milwaukee. For WI it's my favorite place to be.
I started riding when I was 12-20 but have been out of it for quite a while now and am enjoying having a bike and meeting the new people on here. My loves are sports (everything but especially football), cars, bikes, outdoors, racing, vegging, cooking, beer, and general tom foolery. I'm pretty much up for anything. I work way to much as an engineering manager and it takes away from everthing fun in life. I've known a couple guys on here for a while now through cars (Masuo & Brian)
Anyone looking for a drink or a good cigar and I'm there! Masuo let's get some scotch.

My name is Tanya, and I am the Service Writer at Rob's Performance in Johnson Creek.
I bought my first bike (a 2000 EX500 with 69 miles) just before my MSF course in August of 2001. Bought my current 02 F4i in June of 02. Fell in love with her on the ride home.
Did my intro with NESBA on Easter weekend in 03. Did two back to back RA days that year, then tumbled down the front straight at Blackhawk in August of '03. Had two wet sessions with STT at RA in 04. Only got out twice (RA and Autobahn) last season with STT. Went to RA on my 30th birthday this year with NESBA, and God pissed all over my party and got rained out. Hoping to get a couple great track days this year and maybe even a few street miles, too... though you guys usually are out riding while I'm working...
My name is Mike. I will be 40 in a month. And I ride every chance I get. I ride in the dirt, on the ice, and the pavement. I race minimoto. And next year hopefully supermoto. I do a little street riding mainly commuting and a couple trackdays a year with the R6. Between my girlfriend(Tammy\Blndebmbr)and I we have 10 bikes in the garage, all Yamaha.
I'm proud to be part of this group of fine people here!

I heard that! What do you think? I'm glad to hear that at least one person read my thoughts!

Murf for Congress in '08?!
Tom - I'll meet you for sure at the ACE trackday July 2nd. I called you, but you were out of the office. I realized I had $35 in my paypal account, so I signed up through PTT directly.
Sounds Good, Todd... Jess swam at Iowa, and Naperville Central. She would have been swimming in 1994 and 1995 before getting burned out. Her younger brother also swam at Missouri. I have heard more swimming stories than I care to remember since marrying into this family.

I've always lived in southern WI. Started on a farm by the Mississippi, moved to Madison @10. Graduated from UW-Madison in 2003 B.S. Kinesiology. Followed my GF to New Berlin two years ago.
I currently work at a local hospital. Not going to say which one, but I hope I don't see you here. Turned down a decent paying jobs to pad the resume...fighting to get into medical school.
My past also contains lots of chlorine. High school swimming for Verona, Murf you probably swam with old teammates of mine. Not fast enough to swim in college so I played rugby. The last two years of college I was interested in Triathlons.
I like bicycles, motorcycles, flying, swimming, lifting, wrenching on stuff, boating, BBQs, seafood, snowboarding, the ocean, Oakleys...
Things I don't like-snotty attitudes, arrogance, peach schnapps, morning radio shows, reality tv...
My bike is a fairly stock 99 r6. M4 Ti slipon with K&N filter and Factory Pro jet kit. Custom painted wind screen to cover scratches and removed various decals. All damage has been inflicted while the bike wasn't running. Cracked fairing while transporting to storage. Fell over on both sides, left side kick stand malfunction, right side cross winds + cover. Backed into by a Civic hybrid two months ago. No racing experience just playing around. I can't stunt and always wear my helmet.

Hey everyone. I'm 24, just graduated from UW-Whitewater in Dec '05 and decided to put myself far into debt by recently buying a condo and new '06 CBR600RR.
This is my first bike, but I got my motorcycle license 2 years ago. I've been just riding friends bikes until I could afford my own. I use to work at Harley on Capitol Dr so most of my friends ride those, including my roomate(2006 Street Bob). I've figured out that sport bikes suited me a lot better than a Harley and in my opinion look a lot better too.
Anyway,, looking forward to breaking in the new bike this summer around Milwaukee and taking a few longer trips when I can.

Motorcycle History
My love affair with two wheels started at age 10 on a 1969 Honda Z50A mini trail. Its still kicking. Rode a 69-70 BMW R50/5 when I turned 16 for one season. My parents asked me to stop riding on the street until I found new living arrangements. Must have been all that high speed stunting on an old German twin that made them nervous.
Married my highschool sweetheart upon graduation and picked up a Yamaha V-Star 650 to ace the MSF aboard. I wanted something light and nimble to rail on. Traded it in a year later for a 1600 Road Star. Kept that around for two years until the birth of my first son.
On to the sport bikes. Traded the Road Star for a Ducati M900. My dream bike. The dream turned into a nightmare right about the time I found myself sliding down Hwy 60. The Monster and soon to be dead deer blazing a trail in front of me. Insurance wrote it off with only 950 miles on the clock. I rushed out to spend the insurance check the next week on a slightly used 2003 Honda 919. A Monster that spoke Japanese. Two years and 11,000 miles later I find myself atop the 2006 Triumph Daytona 675, in red.
I hope to get to the track this year. Maybe Blackhawk in July. I ride to work as much as possible and if you see a red Daytona with a rider clad in full leathers bombing around northern Milwaukee/Southern Ozaukee county, there is a good chance it is me.
I enjoy stopping by this section to see what all of the locals are getting into. My second son was born this April so my free time to join in rides is severely limited.
So...maybe I'll see you around. Take care and ride safe.
