Yes sir!
I'm working on a 2000 R1. I'm in on it with a friend... it's a crashedtoys purchase with a clean title (not salvaged or rebuilt). The goal is to fix 'er up and sell for a profit. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway (see also, ZX-7 and CBR600RR)
It's turning out very nice... the previous owner seemed to take very good care of it. The bike seems to have been left outside for quite some time, presumably after the insurance company claimed it. It's cleaning up very well, and I breathed life into her yesterday morning. Starts, runs... sounds wicked.
We're replacing all of the bodywork and such - and will end up with a bike that will be in excellent used shape. Anybody looking to buy a 2000 R1?

Thanks Matt! Can I count on you to bail me out of the slammer after the test ride?
