Default And I thought I had debt before!

Yet another big purchase for me on the week. Though I will still make it to a few track days this year, it might not be as many as I thought originaly. Something about buying a house hurts the ol' pocket book!! Maybe one of these days I will stop increasing the outgoing, and try to keep a little of the incoming!!

Although I understand, you should try buying a house in SoCal.

I hear prices are a little out of control out there!!! Though you get to ride year round without snow pants and winter gloves.

Congrats! +1 on the purchase...I made mine at the end of August. The place is great, but this 10° weather is causin' the heat bill to run rampant. If you think the cash outflows are bad now, just wait until you get the urge to do some "home improvements"...Home Depot & Lowe's will become your crack dealer. Thank god my upstairs portion was in great shape. Just a few modifications and some different paint downstairs and I'll be golden....and broke.

And ya'all are just nuts...beautiful weather, but the cost of living is out of sight. I turned down a job in San Diego (commuting to Tijuana everyday) when I read that double wide mobile homes were going for $250K and up.

I am lucky the house that I bought has all new windows...that will help with the heat bill!! It does need carpet and paint though. Oh well, time for an offroad track in the back yard

Great Idea, charge everyone 5.00 to come into your house when ever they visit That way if you dont want company it wont be a problem if they will pay 5.00 to see you they must be really bored

Joe, congrats on the purchase. When I bought my condo almost 6 years ago now it was the best thing I've ever done.

Things are wacky out here. Haven't turned on my heat though and I rarely use A/C. Where in Wi? I was in T'rivers for a year or so.

Congrats!!! Pixors??? I love love love being a homeowner, you will too....Although yeah, last night after shoveling my 400 million feet of sidewalk and driveway, I decided my next pad will be a condo or I'll have a man that will do it for me.

And of course instead of thinking about buy $200 jeans or a $1000 watch, now I am always thinking that my money is for paint, tuck pointing, storm windows, and other house stuff like that....UGH...

Wow, you haven't found a man to do your snow removal? Lol. All I can say is that I am lucky that I don't have any sidewalks...and the place comes with a snowblower!! But I need to do paint and carpet too. That should be fun
