I know every magazine has it's bias, but still thought it was kinda cool.

They just can't hang with the 675. In 2006 there was a comparison between the 675, the GSXR750 and the GSXR1000; which is crazy that the 675 would be put in that unbalanced of a test; but it did well, and if I remember right, either won, or got 2nd to the G1k.

That 675 just plain rocks, now if the 675 is that good, imagine a redone 1000 or 1050 Daytona?
WSB says 3 and 4 cylinders are limited to 1000 cc's so to run it in WSB then their standard bike could not be any larger than 1000 cc's unless they chose something different and went with a 4 cylinder, now i have heard a rumor going around of the return of the Trophy which was a 4cylinder, and a return of the big Daytona! but which engine in either is a ? they may share the same platform, just one for Sport touring, the other for Sporting period.
