I visited the local Triumph dealer today to check out the Scrambler...I really want to like it ....read nostalgia............but with no chrome grid on the gas tank, and pipe and mufflers from a 450 Honda...... I just can't do it.......Whats wrong with a siamesed exhaust and a tiger cub muffler? How much extra for a tank grid....come on Triumph ...You almost made it!..............

They said a tank rack and siamesed pipes could be special made but the cost would be sky high...I must admit I haven't tested the big twins yet...but I have the speed hooligan +3 and reeeaaly liked that...I'm trying to figure a way to put temporary luggage racks for touring....Its a shame they had to put mufflers each side of the bike..not underseat...... Now the new 07 Tiger is out with smaller front wheel and bigger brakes...if the seat height is "normal" I may just go for it.For sure I'll sit out the winter and see what's out there next spring......
