Default Triumph Thunderbird vs. Trident 900

I am looking at buying one of these for my father, what is the difference between the two? I am leaning more towards a Thunderbird Sport (dual pipes) as of right now. I would prefer to find a Triumph Hurricane since he used to own one that he still to this day regrets selling but they are very hard to find and by no means cheap. Any advice is appreciated

Thanks

I think you'll find the T Bird sport a better all-around bike. The suspension is adjustable, and better brakes (IIRC).

The Trident is pretty old 95 or 96, so it's basically the same as my Sprint without the small fairing.

Both have the same 885 triple though, which is a beautiful, bomb-proof lump.

If I had the choice, the T Bird would get the nod... as long as it's not one of the orange a nd white (cream-sickle) color schemes.
