Triumph Motorcycles (America) Ltd. and AHRMA create new
roadracing series featuring the Triumph Thruxton 900.


Triumph Motorcycles (America) Ltd., is proud to announce a new partnership with the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association. Kicking off the 2005 season with an inaugural race at Carolina Motorsports Park, Kershaw, SC, on March 3, 2005, The Thruxton Challenge will be a regular feature at all AHRMA Historic Cup Roadrace Series events, including March 7-8 at Daytona International Speedway.

I think it is kind of cool but as a Daytona 600 owner I think they are going the wrong way. As a Motorcycle company you are supposed to compete in the now not in the past. All I hope is that they come out with a 750cc Triple in the D6 body work and I would forgive them..
