Default E Boz to miss last race of season due to injury...

He high sided at Road Atlanta and got hurt bad...He's done for the season...

Quote:
Ducati Corse sources say that yesterday Dr. Art Ting diagnosed Eric Bostrom with a "posterior dislocation to his shoulder, and a posterior labrial tear, in addition to the broken rib, contusions and bruising to the socket and humoral head".

Ting told Bostrom that he'll need two weeks of complete immobility to start the healing process and isn't ruling out surgery after things have stabilized in his shoulder.

Bostrom is expressing regret that he'll miss VIR for the second year in a row (he was injured last season after a collision with Aaron Yates at Laguna Seca) but may be there to sign autographs (presumably with a pen stuck in his mouth).

Ducati is still planning on racing the event with World Supersport rider Fonzi Lanzi and "maybe" 2003 Austin rider Giovanni Bussei

Rumor has it he's leaving Ducati, I'd like to see him back at Kawi on a ZX-10R Superbike. Hopefully Mike Preston gets the green light to field 2 riders in the premier class in America.

Where did you read that rumor? As far as I know he signed a 2 year contract with Ducati. I would love to see him back on a ZX-10R. I think he is having problems with that bike because it is probably the worst handling bike out there in Superbike. He went from the best handling and slowest bike, the ZX-7R to the fastest(maybe) and worst handling bike, the Ducati. I think if he gets on the ZX-10R next year he could dominate.
