Default Pirelli Slicks Question

I have run nothing but Miechelins my entire riding career...

Yesterday, I picked up a set of Pirelli Diablo Superbike slicks for Buttonwillow on Monday.

Anyone with experience know the pressures I should be running on these?

Front 120/70 17 Soft
Rear 180/55 17 Medium

I was thinking 29-25???

I will be using warmers and my pace is high B low A if thats relevant to my question.

Thanks in advance...

all you have to do is wait until that morning and the supplier (hopefully there is one) will tell you.

that's ALWAYS what I do.

those pressures are about 4 psi too low on each

You should get about 5-7 psi gains from cold to hot

Actually they are pretty damn close for slicks and the DOT race tires.

31-33 front Hot
27-29 rear Hot

Just started running Pirellis again and that just seems low from what my trackside vendor was telling me. Plus that sounds like pressures that I would run with the power races....since the rear carcass is so much stiffer. The pirellis are super pliable and I think that that would just be too low.

I race on the DOTs, Phil races on the slicks. Both of us get our tires from Sometime_Racer on this board, the Pirelli vendor for our track. Phil's bike is a Gixx750.

You start with a number and adjust from there, but those are the numbers that we used.

One session on the track, more than four laps, and then I would come in and check for the hot pressures. My tire wear was fantastic all season long, even and smooth, no cold or hot-tearing.
