Default Hey Mike

I missed you down at Blackhawk the other weekend (CCS). Unfortunately I wasn't at the track all day as I caused my first red flag in the morning (with Learning Curves). Turn two obviously takes a long time to get some heat in it I will have to try to catch up with you next year as my sudden stop in the tire wall ended any chance for me to ride this year. And for the record, there is nothing funny about breaking a humoris ( i can't spell either)!!

I kinda thought that might be you when I heard the bike number, it sounded familiar (we have a scanner in our pit tuned to the safety/corner workers channel most the time). I hadn't heard for sure what the injuries were, but that really sucks you got hurt. Blackhawk Farms is definately one of those places you don't want to run off the track in most places, not much for run-off room.

I didn't have a very good weekend myself (though I didn't crash), I couldn't get the bike to hook up for anything. I was getting full bike slides in a few places and rear wheel spin in other places, the bike just didn't feel good to me. I think part of the problem was I changed my gearing which changed my wheelbase and rake angle of the forks at the same time, luckily I will be going back to my top-end gearing for the Race of Champions at Daytona during Biketoberfest in a few weeks - then I plan on retiring this racebike (maybe back to street?).

Next season will be here soon enough. Our 1st race of the season is usually at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas - I believe they usually have the new racer school at that event as well - so if you want to go with us that will probably be an option for you. Either way, heal up!

What you just read is my opinion and is based on my experiences and the info I have acquired during my life, it's my interpretation and isn't written in stone. Yes, I post long responses regularly because I like to fully explain my views. Don't like it or agree with what I have to say? Then don't read it or respond to it! Respond like an immature idiot to posts of mine and I will just ignore you. Have a nice day.

Sorry it took so long to post up again...but yes, I crashed during the school. It was about 4 laps into the first track session for us. I had tire warmers, but the track must have sucked out most of the heat by the time the instructor let me by. I didn't think I was pushing it that hard. I wasn't even at my normal track day pace.
