Brembo Master Cylinder - one word, wow.
I just installed a brembo radial master cylinder last night on my f4i and all I can really say is 'wow.' I wont get a chance to test it on the track until Oct. 1st, but just from my test run down my street it is amazing. when I thought I was just slowly braking, my rear tire came up. Pending a track test, I think it is the best upgrade I've made so far to my bike.
Can't wait to try it on the track

Yup. The linear control is incredible. If you ever have to run a stock master you'll truely realize how bad stock masters typically are.

Would this be the infamous "banned by WERA" unit?

If it weren't for a little thing called a slipper clutch I'd totally agree.

I may go with one for my k5 next yr. I have to admit that the feel from the stocker is very good although I have heard some people having issues with them. I do have more confidence braking deep compared to my old 600RR and that bike had very good brakes.

yep, they are the best!!! i recently had to go back to stock after my mate high sided my bike in practice for an endurance race at motegi we were competing in. the lever was reaching the bar trying to stop, and i wasnt stopping!!!!! (which sux!!) anyway i had to move my brake markers by about 15 meters around the entire circuit.

I lowsided the first race weekend of last year and broke my lever and had to run the stock master. Talk about wooden brake feel. It's just a solid upgrade even for a street bike.
For the street application I'd recommend the micro switch not the pressure switch. I'd also recommend the 19x18 for most applications. Give you more control where the 19x20 has a little harder pull to it.

I want a slipper, but the f4i apparently isnt good enough for them to make one for it ;P
anyways, yeah, WERA banned it because they said it gave too much of an advantage. I have been running the stock cylinder on my f4 and f4i for the last 2 seasons (track days, not racing) so I'm looking forward to using the brembo on the track. Should be nice. I'll give a little review of it after sunday, even though it sounds like everyone pretty much already gave their own short review of it..
looks kinda out of place on an f4i

If you get the chance to pick up one of the "Shorty" levers I'd recommend it and us the "Long-ass MoFo" lever as a spare. The shorter lever is less prone to damage. Again, something I found out the hard way.

yep .. thats on the list of things to buy ... but after spending 300 bucks on a master cylinder, 100 more for a lever will have to wait.
where did you get yours from ? I havent really seen a good place to get one ...

200 ? now you tell me... it was 250ish for the cylinder and like 30 for the reservoir/tubing/blah blah .. so I rounded That was from yoyodyne, I went with them since they are reputable and if I have any issues I'd like to know they are there.
and I was wondering where you got your shorty lever from, not the cylinder .. I already bought that =/
