Default Bolt Kits.

Is there any place that sells bolts that are predrilled for safety wire? I really do not want to spend all day listening to my air compressor running and destroying bits on my drill press, and drill.

I don't know if anyone sells pre-drilled factory bolts, but I would imagine if you were upgrading to Titanium they might have some that are pre-drilled.

You really don't have to safety wire that much stuff, unless you wanna go crazy with it for safety's sake. Just buy some quality drill bits (preferably Titanium or at least coated), use a lubricant/coolant when your drilling, and let the drill do the cutting (in other words don't try and be forceful with it). Another tip is to keep the drills sharp, small drills will lose their effectiveness really fast once they start to get dull. Another thing is to check and see what size hole the racing organization allows for you to drill and still be legal (like they are going to ever check anyways! LOL), if you go to the bigger size you will probably find that it will be easier to drill and you can safely apply a little more pressure without breaking the drill.

I realize this isn't what you were asking, but it really doesn't take that long if you have the bolts off of the bike. I would at least give it a try on a couple of them and see how it goes.

Yeah, thats what my plan was. I was just seeing how much it would cost me to be lazy. I work on helicopters for a living so I do tons of saftey wiring. Thanks for the input.

just drill em ... I did some looking for pre-drilled bolts and didnt come up with much. It'd be pretty hard for a company to stock all the bolts for all the popular bikes pre-drilled. Plus I dont think there is real high demand as most people would save the money and do it themselves
