I did not like it at first either, but it has kinda grown on me. Atleast you can tell where they are on the track.

Holy shit, that is Steve Rapp's bike! This years bike!
Bidding has ended for this item - Reserve not met at $15,500. I would track that biotch!
I wonder how it ended up at New Orleans Harley Davidson, with zero miles.

I have a feeling that those who like that bike are the ones who think that chrome spinners look good on their litre bike...you know, the 1000 they bought because they heard that it had 4 more BHP than the other brand, but that have tires with flattened out centers and unscrubbed edges...(just kidding, not trying to offend anyone personally, just my way of saying that the bike looks kind of "ghetto")
Personally, I'd go buy a new GSX-R1000 and spend the extra $5,500 on upgrading it myself, because surely these guys are charging more than what's in it in upgrades and hoping to make some $ off of the Jordan name.
I think that the colors are New Orleans specific? Perhaps that specific bike was put together just for New Orleans, maybe a Katrina charity thing?

This bike is the real deal. The colors are the standard Jordan Motorsports colors. These bikes are built by a national caliber motorcycle race shop in Milwaukee for Michael Jordans team (someone I know thru racing works there). You don't actually think Michael Jordan would want to skimp on anything being done to his teams bikes that might prevent them from doing as good as they possibly can, do you? These bikes are consistently the ones immediately behind the full on Factory bikes in the finishing order fighting with other teams like the M4 Suzuki Team and Graves Motorsports, pretty hard to cut down a bike capable of that. I worked on the M4 Suzuki Team for the whole week during the 2005 Daytona 200 event, Jordan Motorsports was immediately next to us in the NASCAR garages. These bikes are serious full on race bikes for a serious race team, they have cool toys, tricks, and tuning that most will never have, I doubt the same money spent on another bike would get you to the level that this bike already is!
