Default Help: Track fairings & Bank Angle Sensor

I'm currently installing track fairings on my '02 CBR600F4i and I need some assistance quickly.

When I remove the factory upper and headlights, the bike will no longer run. I don't hear the fuel pump and I'm 99% sure its because the bank angle sensor is mounted somewhere in the upper fairing and, when I pull the lights and harness off, is disconnected.

Is this the case?

Do people typically just mount the bank angle sensor somewhere else on their bike and, if so, where and what do you do about the sensor being tied into the lighting harness?

I've got a track day on Monday so anyone that can help, please do!
