Default 125cc class?

Why are there no racing classes in the USA that are under 600cc? I want to start racing in a 125cc race class, but there aren't any around...any advice that doesn't include moving to Europe?

EDIT: Nevermind....

CCS has plenty of lightweight GP classes, check them out. There are tons of 125cc bikes at the races that I participate in.
