Whoooah you need to send me your budget, I was considering sponsoring a buddy of mine throught my business and he told me it would cost about 50,000.00 just for him! Obviously you have a better accountant.

I'm about $500 a month for a two-day event. To keep the cost low I camp at the track, bring my own food and try to bring a buddy along to split the cost of gas.

Also I corner work at all of TMP's track days at Summit Point. They pay me $100 to $135 a day, which goes right to my track day account with them.

Damn lots of money being spent. I'm gonna save up this winter hopefully so I can do at least one event a month, around 1 or 2 trackdays. Looking foward to this November when I'll be doing VIR south and north w/ TPM.

My wife makes sure I get a monthly printout of my track expenses.....
In a slow month it's around $500 to $1000. In the busy months it's been as high as $3000 to $4000.

maybe some people cant afford to go every month. I about $700 bucks for a weekend. and get out 2 or 3 times a year. If I hadnt bought my jeep before i started getting into the track, I would bought a beater and had more money for more days.

2 days a month is about $200 with tires and an oil change. I only pay $45 for a day at the track, I run diablo corsa front and diablo rear that I get for about $225 a set, they last 4 track days, and I live 30 minutes from the track, so travel costs are really low.

I wasn't judging anyone that couldn't afford the monthly expense. I could care less. Note the smiley..

I hear you on the weather, Junkie. I have the 25th set up and I'm hoping this weather will pass on by by then.

The 25th I'm going with Reduc. I'm also trying to get in for Beaver Run on 10/10 Reduc if I can figure out a way to afford new BT 002's by then.

I'm hoping to get in TP's last two dates for the year if I can too.

Loved them, EA6B,

I have one full day on the 002's and I'll have one more after the 25th. I'll put them up for sale after that. I'd like to think I could get more out of them but I don't want to take the chance on testing the theory.
