I sent an email off to my tire guy. From what I've found, it looks like a 150/70 or 150/60 may work.

Try this made by Pirelli. It may be suitable for trackday purposes. I will talk to our Pirelli Rep to confirm.

This tire is available in many sizes within the range for your 500

ive pretty much decided on the Pirelli Sport Demon 140.

how much to shop usually charge to swap out a tired? also, phil, what shop around here would u recommend?

edit: also, is there any1 locally that stocks them? cuz shipping might cut it close for the trackday and id still need to get it mounted and everything.

Pipe City is the cheapest locally but I think you need to have them off the bike. You may want to call and find out. Mike may be able to do them for you. You may want to send him a PM and ask. They will also do them at the track for either $10 or $20. Again, we need to be able to get the bike in the air to pull the tires.

Swing by Saturday and we can see what needs to be done and how easy they are to remove.
