My unrealistic goal, Elbows... if the RR didn't have such short clip-ons. Maybe with some aftermarkets? Ok, maybe not.

Pull the forks up in the triple tree a few mm..improve turn in and gets more weight on the front end! You can elbow drag! Good Job! Just don't get to crazy with pulling the fork up or it'll go from fast turning to dangerous!

Thanks,
The Honda is sort of notorious for dragging hard parts so I have the pre-load and compression damp up front set up to maximize weight to the rear of the bike. It makes turning a bit of a bitch but it keeps the bike upright and minimizes the chances of a front end tuck.
Next season, I hope to have a better rear shock back there with adjustability for the rear.

Those are awesome pics. That second one you are really hanging off. What track are you going to if you live in Allentown...Pocono's?? I lived my last two years of high school in the area.

Nice form, but I almost wanna say you are leaning off TOO much in some of those pics. Your body alignment looks good and you are looking through the corner very well, good job man, keep up the track riding, get a little faster each time, as long as you keep getting faster, it's all worth it!

If I remember correctly I was in 2nd place in our Advanced group during this particular session, so I was trying everything I could to try and catch this one guy from England on an ZX-10R. I could get semi close through the in-field but he would check out on the straights, as expected. That foreigner could ride that thing.
I think the bike handles better with me as far away from it as possible.

Yeah, that is the Pocono East course. I'm trying to get my act together in time to go to Beaverun on the 10th of Oct.

yeah, my last race weekend i was testin that out too. i noticed that i would hang my ass way off but stick behind the windscreen, but i would keep leaned over the tank. so i tried kissin the mirror. it felt weird the first couple laps, but my times started to drop too. i like that style better, the upper body helps A LOT. i never stick my knee out though. i just let it dangle. i figured out that when it drags, i have a little more lean to work with. i tossed it into a corner to hard once and dragged elbows.....and ass.

The one thing that sucks about the head/shoulder low style is that as you come out of the exit and start to accelerate on the straight, the inertia and wind resistance make it hard to get my 6'2 ass back on the bike. So as I'm accelerating, I don't know what the hell is happening on the opposite side of the bike.
