I'm a Bridgestone fan but I haven't had a chance to get my new 002's(both Mediums) on the track yet. When I go to Summit Point in Aug, they'll be on the bike.
If any of you guys are using the BT-002, what tire pressures are you running? I think I'll use a base of 30/30 until I see how they perform.

I might run 30/32 because the front is a soft one. I'll go from there also. The ZRX is about a 100lbs more than most of the bikes out there.

My 1st and 2nd trackday were on M1's, worked very well for the times I was runnin then. Thats what I ride for street use anyway.
Once my times were getting decent for that track I went to Metzler Rennsports Med/Med comp. They are awesome tires, on my second set now. They lasted 3 days (2 1/2 anyways, have to account for the wreck. LOL)
The 3rd day, late in the day, I noticed feeling some bumpiness. Took a look and saw that the tread pattern slits were coning up, weird-never heard of this. They were done anyways.
The one thing bout tire selection is, if your running OK times at that track a street tire would be best to use. They can withstand alot more heat cycles than a race tire. If you are running farely fast times for that track then you might want to consider goin with race tires.
Just my opinion.
Have fun, speed safe

I absolutly hated Diablo corsas.vague feedback, way to much carcass flex and nobody seems to know the "proper" psi to run in them.
I'm currently using 208gp's but will try the 208rr's when they are available.I really liked the 207rr's..

I felt exactly the same way. Front tire gave no feedback and I hated the rear tire profile, making it a battle to get the bike over. Grip was decent though.

010's? Outta try the 12SS's. As for the Diablo Corsa's, I thought I heard you run them at 34/36.

Michelin Pilot Race:
S2/M2 or M2/M2 combos.
I have run dunlop 208s, diablos, diablo corsas and then these Michelin Pilot Race.
They are indescribably supperior. The amount of confidence they give you is actually pretty dangerous!
I ran my first track day on dunlop 208s. By the 2nd day, I was spinning the rear too much, and sliding from what felt like a greasy tire. I then went with the diablos and noticed improvement, however, I got faster, fast. The diablos started to just not feel right, started to feel kind of greasy again and loose. The Corsas were an improvement again. However, I then tried the Michelins and it was night and day difference.
The thing I like most about the michelins, is their predictable. Atleast for me they are. I know when they are going to start sliding, I know how much I can ride on them while sliding, and they will tell me when it is time to throw another set on.
I have yet to feel the front slide on me with the Michelins too. That S2 front is nasty! (in a good way!)
Oh ya, I have yet to try them in their brand new state! All this on take offs. The take offs are vastly supperior than the other ones in their brand new state. Right now I am to the point where I am too fast to use the take offs. SUCKS! Cuz now I am going to have to dish out the big $$ for new ones and probably some tire warmers to get some more laps out of them!

Right now, Metzeler RS1/RS2. I absolutely love them. My next set I will try the 208gpA.
