Here we are the first day I bought here at the base of the Cherhala
The next pics are the week after the ride as I get to know my bike a bit better lol.

Thanks Justin...whooeee this is alot of work! This bike was just ridden, and thats all, I wanted to go back and cuss the previous owner out for the state she was in.....but he probably wouldnt understand why I was mad anyway lol.

Well I have come to realize that I have OCD when it comes to my bikes and they must be squeaky clean. As I started to change out the chain and sprocket I was horrified by the gunk I found.
BEFORE
AFTER
(pics are on the way)
So far
replace front brake lines w/ steel braded ones (russel)
replaced the handle bar grips
started painting the frame and undertail (and had to restart becasue I messed it up):
tried to replace the brake pads but got the wrong set from teh dealership (so back I go).
Changed the oil and filter,
drained the anti freeze and replaced with engine ice
put some new Pilot Powers on her feet...
added new chips to the tank as I dropped it while working on the bike (sigh)
To go:
install new chain and sprocket
finish painting frame
Touch up paint scratches
add widown motif (probably have some decals made in case I change my mind or sell the bike)
Install new brake pads
Install rear brake line (cant get the bolts off lol)
That mod so that she does not pop any more

I hear you..I posted this on tlplant and a few folks came back and said that if you ride your bike and lube your chain, your it will will look like that, adn dirt is good. I really did not know how to respond to that after I stopped laughing
