i failed to see in any of the links or news on this overturned gun ban where the District of Columbia is going to require a purchase of a license to have a gun in your own home...? however just like many other states in this country they are not allowing concealed or open carry outside the home... yet the government issued 1-year permit to carry may never be signed off on to allow carry outside the home it is still a big victory for the people of D.C.
you still would have to register a weapon to have it inside your home... but last i checked this doesnt cost anything... its just a filing of the paperwork on the serial #'s of the firearm and the person its being registered to along with their address its going to be kept...
