it was awesome man... had a blast we went down bradyville and kept a dam quick pace the whole way... found out the asshats at the harley shop i got my tires mounted at put my rear on backwards... so im going out to sloans sometime next week and matt said he would fix it for me and ill get my tinted shield then... and maybe get that headlight mod finally done if your up to it... and free... that sucks that the head bearings were that bad... ill know if i do that mod to go ahead and switch to aftermarket ones while changing the forks and brakes out... oh and how hard would it be to change the fork oil... i have some 5wt i wanted to put in to replace the 15wt that came stock to slow the damping down a bit to keep the front end from diving so hard...

Fork oil is pretty easy to change out. Should be simply pull out the forks, turn the caps off, take out the springs. Might be a few other parts in there that will come out, not sure, need to check the service manual. Turn the forks upside down and let all the oil drain out. Fill back up with new oil. Make sure to get something to measure how far from the top the oil line is to keep it in spec. Also not sure if you fill/measure with the springs and everything in. Im lucky that I weigh the exact ammount the R6 forks are made for
Glad to hear you guys had fun! My bike will be back up and running tonight . I get off work at 4PM mon-fri, every week, so let me know when what works best for you to do the headlight mod. Sucks about the reartire!
