Hotmail is SUPER slow {39kb/sec}. Is this new?

Hotmail used to dl e-mail at around 80-100, now its down around 39 to 42. I tried that RETARDED new "Live Version", then tried to switch back, but the thing will still not DL faster than 30/40 kb/s.

I did try to switch off my Virus programs, no luck--still same slow speed. btw--nothing on Google or ASK on this topic.

Something as simple as resetting your modem can help. Also clear out the cache and all that crap. It might help. A spybot s&d scan can tell you if you have any junk on the computer.
It also just might be slow because Microsoft bogged down their servers with all that fancy crap.

hotmail live just plain sucks. They are trying to force too much interactivity in their web and it just blows.

It could possibly be that you are on a different server of theirs currently which is a bit bogged down, but if you are getting normal fast speeds on other sites, its not a modem problem.

I ran Spybot, and AdAware, and McAfee. I cleaned the cache as well. Also, I "pinged" myself, and have a connection speed of 398 {wow--thats not bad at all!}
Still have shiite connection/DL speed with Microcrap MSN.

Same here in the 30+kb/s range. Attachments from hotmail download slow as molasses. It's nothing on our end. And yes the "Live" version sucks.
