Nicer phones, can you stream?

I dont know if there are any phones that would be capable, but i have to ask.


Some of the nicer phones todayhave full internet. So would i be able to stream music/live radio stations from the phone?

Is it possible? does anyone know what kinda phone i'd need?(im on cingular)

Im able to stream live radio on my pda. Mine is thru Verizon and im sure you can find one from Cinugular that does also.

I stream talk radio through my Cingular 8525.

Pretty much any phone that can do full web pages can stream both audio and video. It just depends on your network speed.


Egde should be able to do it, though- and i have it out HERE, so it's pretty much everywhere.



Now the REAL trick is getting a phone with WiFi and being able to use a VOIP client to make free phone calls. yay for S60 phones....

EDGE generally isn't fast enough to stream much more than talk radio AM broadcasts.

Theoretically, sure, but not in real-world usage. Unless you have a very strong signal, 3G barely makes the cut in most areas.
