Earlier tonight I went to the "What do you do for a living" post and noticed a lot of IT people. So are you primarilly a PC (Vista or XP), Mac, both or Linux.
What about props to my command line OS? I have a freaking DOS machine, biotches!
All four of my primary client boxes are using Windows XP Pro. I've only started to play with Vista recently. And I fucking hate it. But I said that went I finally upgraded my clients from 2000 Pro to XP Pro.
I've used SuSe and some other Linux distro, maybe Fedora. Too many driver incompatibilities when I used it, if I can remember. And yes, I still use a box using MS-DOS for some command line images on disks at work.
Retired the OSX box. Got tired of upgrading the damn thing. PC's at home running XP, Mandriva, Suse. At work I run XP, Suse (in a VM). Switching most of our work servers to Novell OES (Suse based). So the other guys I work with are building their Linux skills.
