Default Running a game console through a monitor?

Is it possible? I had to get rid of my small TV to fit my computer and now i dont have a place to play a game system in my room.

If you have a new-gen system with an HDMI output, you can get a cord that will do HDMI to DVI. You can get it on newegg for like 7 bucks.

If not, you can get a component or composite to VGA adapter. They are standalone boxes that you can plug everything into. Or get a video input card for your computer. Or a tv tuner card, those usually have aux. inputs.

There's lots of things you can do.

you might have to play with the resolution settings. i've tried to hook up my laptop to a large-screen lcd and it looked all messed up. it was nearly impossible for me to get the screen the way i wanted it.

Is there an RCA video input on the monitor?

I have an ATI All-In-Wonder card that has Audio-Video in jacks that I tried playing my PS2 on. It looked horrible. Whether it was because of the monitor or video card I don't know but I'd bet it was the video card because I have a pretty nice 19in. widescreen Samsung flat panel monitor.

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
