OK, fellow riders and techs. I have to decide, should I pursue the A+ or a MS cert?
What's the benefit or downfall of one or the other?
Certs aren't free, so can't be jamming away at everything.
What's a good starting point?
Besides that I am a semester away from my associates degree in CIS/Net Admin. Should I just focus on that and go for a 4 yr ? Or 2 yrs w. Certificates?

Casino Cash: $100
Sportbike: two: one green, the other blue
try the cisco route.
as for the education, get your B.S. degree with these certificates, marketability will increase as well as your salary negotiating power. just my two cents.
edit: and your knowledge will increase.

Comptia certifications are not, in general, highly regarded in the industry. They're effective as a minimum checkmark, but don't go bragging about them; you'll just look silly. I usually take them as a precursor to more accepted certifications, like Network+ prior to CCNA.
Do both and stay varied. Don't limit yourself to MS or any one tech area. Work on your BS and find a workplace that not only encourages but pays for training. My education didn't cost me a dime!
