Default Taking words out of a song i.e Accoustic

Is there any software that allows words to be taken out of a song so it is just accoustic/instrumental?

there are, but whatever one it was that i used before wasnt very good.....all it really does is remove anything above a certain volume or frequency....and so it cuts the music out too

i cant think of what you would search for if you wanted to google for it

maybe "vocal extractor" or something similar

Yes, but all it does really is eliminate the midrange. Some work better than others, but it all depends on what's in the midrange

If the voice is higher than a certain pre-set hertz, it won't filter out. For example, 311 has a singer and a rapper. The rapper, SA, has a really high pitched voice. The singer is eliminated, but the rapper remains.

Google some free "vocal removal" software programs.
