Yahoo mail question

My Aunt somehow just got my email address and she's totally into forwarded these "funny" pictures, quotes and whatever. So I'm getting several of these a day and I don't like them in my box. I want to mark it as spam so it gets sent to the trash folder but when I try it says the message will be reported. Who will it be reported to? I don't want her to know I'm not all that fond of her emails but I also don't want all that stuff cluttering up my box. Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't think your aunt would find out. I'm guessing it will just get reported to Yahoo's "spam" service.

Create another email account. Email yourself, and mark it as spam. See what happens.

You can set filters up on Yahoo mail to re-direct mail you want to put in other places. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

You're aunt won't be notified. The "report" goes to yahoo service of course. You're aunt will never know.

I am currently having this problem wiht a friend of mine. he sends me close to 20 of those things a day. I dont get to get on here every day... so it adds up. I finally asked him today if he would stop sending so many. I'm just glad he didn't take it the wrong way lol

Your aunt won't know you sent it as spam but she will get a warning on her account about sending things considered spam.
