Default 'Puter problems

My lap top started displaying the the CTF Loader has encountered a problem and needs to close. It has where you can send Microsoft an error report if you want to. Wtf is th CTF loader, how important is it, and how do I fix it. It is on my hp laptop running xp home. It just started this this morning and getting the message everytime I try to do something is getting to be a pain.

Might be from the factory, or it could be from an app. that was downloaded/installed.

Not sure.

Start -> Run -> "regedit" -> <enter>, Browse to HKLM -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Run, RunOnce

Also check out the HKLU hive. You might want to backup your Registry in case you foul something up. If you're not comfortable with the Win Registry, don't make the edit.

I'd also do a little Google on that issue and see what you dig up.
