Im slowly uploading my music again (after losing all 6000 songs with a bad HDD) , but decided to keep them in a more orderly fashion than the state they were once in. Basically need a tool to edit the information stored in the file, most importantly the genre. Hate having two albums from the same band being filed under two different genres EG in my mind, Metallica are rock, and so id like all their albums to reflect this, instead of some being thrash, some being alternative rock and so on. This is purely for ease of use for the Sony Walkman i have.
Googled, and the amount of choice out there is blinding. Tried a few and none of them do what id like them to do.
I basically want to say "take all these, and put 'rock' in the genre, and take all these, and put 'trance set' as the genre" You get what i mean?
Does anyone know of a program that will do this? Cheers for your help. [
