First allow me to apologise for taking up space with this question, but it will save people from scrolling from left to right just to read replies when this sh!t happens....

How the Hell do you make a word such as "CLICK ME" into a link without copying the entire web address?

You mean like this? SBN

Left bracket, url=http://webaddress, right bracket, then the text you want to link to the site, then, left bracket, backslash, url, right bracket

no spaces between anything, either.
