I bought the Dell 700m off a guy on eBay for $782.00, a whopping week of holiday pay for me . Check out my setup:
The Monitor is a ProView 17", Sound Setup: Logitech 5.1 surround sound w/sub., little black hard drive near speaker: 60GB external for mobile storage (comes in REALLY handy when imaging and transferring large files from system to system), and my BRAND NEW DELL 700m. If you have never seen one of these mobile laptops - the smallest damn laptop ever. I bought it off a guy on eBay for a steal.
Anyways... I just liked the whole setup and wanted to share
Also, all central Floridians, today was a BEAUTIFUL day for a ride, a little windy but nonetheless, went to BestBuy and picked up Forza Motorsports for XBOX. with my wife on the new ZX-6R.
i got the 700m with wi/fi too, good for my online classes when im at hooters trying to concentrate on assignments.

yeah its a badass computer. SOOOOOOO friggn light and I love the Wi/Fi light. Man this is honestly the best laptop I have ever seen. I charged the battery and I TRIED to let the thing die but after 8+ hours it just woulnd't die. I love it!!!!

Apparently, Dell batteries have improved. My i8200 eats them alive - even when it and them were new it wasn't great.
I have a Compaq NC6000 (its a commercial model) at work that will go forever on one battery.

I've got the 4 cell battery on mine and it dies with 3 hrs.. but watching a DVD it'll die in like 1.5 hours

I've got the 700m too, battery has a short life for stock (saw that comin). The only real gripe I have is no matter how much onboard memory you have, the video allocation won't go above 64m.
