Default SV650S & tall people

I was just wondering how well taller folks fit on the SV650S. I am 6'1" & am starting to look at this bike. Are there any tall people that own, say a 2001 SV650S? Thanks!

I have a 03 SVs and it fits just fine.(6'2") I would think that the older gen would have about the same ergos.

I'm not that tall, but have a buddy who is 6' 4" and fits fine on an '01. If your knees don't fit in the tank cut-outs, try putting the pegs up and back another inch either with plates or aftermarket rearsets.

Well, I'm also 6'2 and while I fit on the bike, my knees don't fit in the tank cut outs. Of course, I've changed *a few* things on my 00 naked (drag bars and rear plates) that helped the ergos but my knees still don't fit in the cutouts. I have to ride with my crotch against the tank for the right position and only put my ass far back in the seat when I'm on the freeway. Maybe I have longer legs than the other folks on here (36" inseam).

con_man - your friend might have a better time fitting on some of the 600cc bikes out there. I fit on the new Daytona 600, Gixxer 600, Yam 600's, and like Kaws the best. I didn't/don't like the Honda ergo for me. Your friend has to sit on them to make sure... Good luck!

I'm 6'1". Have a 01' with a lowered seat and aftermarket(higher and furtherback) rearsets. Perfect fit for me.

I myself am 6'2, and I feel it is a good fit. My feet fit flat against the ground with little knee bend, so keeping it up when coming to a stop is no problem. Now this is my first bike, so I'm no expert, but it fits me just fine.
