Default Does anyone ever MOD the SV650Fairing's dual headlights?

Modding to make both of them run on lowbeams, instead of that damn "hey dude, you got a headlight out!" look

You would need a different bulb socket and wiring to put dual filament bulbs on both sides which is odd because that's how the sv1000s works.

Do both sides light up on high beams?

Edit: just checked RonAyers and both the sv650s and sv1000s use dual H4 bulbs.

lol... what a way to figure out you got a headlight out...

don't worry man, i had "WTF?? Why's it so dark??" happen to me when my brights went out. I always leave them on, they burned out, so I was cruising around town with just those tiny little bulbs on the side on for a while...

P.S. For any of the fellow SV'ers here... do you know if the brights can "burn out" but the low beams still work? That's my case... I checked the fuses already and they were fine... not too handy with electrical work, but I gave it a professional jiggle at the control switch/left hand grip - nothing.

the bulb has two filaments, one high, one low. you just burnt out the high beams, leaving the lows intact.
