Default Turbo GSXR 600

Hi all,

Interested in doing a project involving a GSXR 600 (between a 2003-2007 model) and a Turbo kit, which I found on the net.

The overall output will be around 140 bhp (according to dyno sheets) but I'm wondering what the overall performance might be like.

I know 600s will normally do a 1/4 mile in around 11 seconds with a top speed of about 120-130.

If anyone could give me rough estimates to the following that would help a lot.

0-60
1/4 time
top speed over 1/4 mile

I have looked on the net I cant find anything, other than a few dyno videos.

Cheers

hm 120-130 MPH top speed? i am doing that in 3rd gear on my 600. unless your talking in the 1/4 mile yeah sounds about right. last i ran was 10.9 at 131

your 0-60 and 1/4mile will suck due to not being able to keep the front end down. but if i had to guess a 9sec pass should be do able with the right stuff and if the bike was set up for drag racing, but the 600 with a turbo would be a mean street bike. and top speed... hm i read that our bikes are limited at 180 ish by the PCM. i do not know 100% i have only had my 750 at 160 on the track and my 600 at about 125 on the track ( different one)

I ran a handful of 9.9s @ 138 on my CBR954RR and it made about 144 on the dyno. Usually averaged 10.0s at 137/138. Not exactly the same but it could give you an idea of what its capable of.

pretty sure with a turbo it will get into the low 9's maybe lower. depending on the size and brand or if its homemade too. i def. agree with brent on the 0-60 cuz that thing will lift pretty easy without much effort. how much did u get this thing for cuz iv been thinkn about it.
