Default Full Exhaust vs Slip-ON

Hey guys -- I got a slip on yosh pipe right now and am thinking of ebayin it and puttin a full system on over the fall/winter...

Whats the differences -- I dont think the slip-on gives to much if any hp difference at all -- the full gives somewhere between 10-15 right?

How about difference in sound -- is the full exhaust of a more "full" sound? pun definately intended

What are the other differences?

i talked about this at work with a few buddies that work there

they had a good idea on this subject.

do you really need to few Xtra HP? can u handle the full output your bike can dish out?

unless you race the bike. a full system i think it not really needed.

i out a two brothers slip-on on my bike, just to make it a little louder and look better, well it made it to loud but looks better

Slip on = maybe 1-3 extra hp
Full exhaust = 5-10 extra hp if mapped really well

If you stick with the same type exhaust, the sound will likely be very similar...

Only other difference is weight...Full systems typically reduce weight by a few lbs...

If this is just because you have a retainer spring rattling, get some rubber tubing and place it over the spring.
